I am a person who believes that the world around me is my teacher...other people, plants, and animals. And at this time of the year, I see plants that are blooming "with fearless abandon", telling us something about how to live and move in the world. When fruit trees burst into blossom, they do so, NOT knowing if a rain storm will knock their blooms off before they can set fruit, NOT knowing if a late Spring freeze will derail the whole life-cycle this year, NOT knowing if there will be enough bees (pollinators) to play in the exquisite orchestra that performs every Spring. And yet, they are living examples of the admonition to "Be so completely yourself that everyone else feels safe to be themselves too."
