Has anyone noticed that birds and flowers look like each other...especially in tropical locals. I thought that I had "noticed this' when I decided to do a little research. Turns out that some flowers have evolved to resemble certain bird features, such as feathers or beaks, to attract specific bird pollinators. This mimicry can be so precise that it fools not only birds but also human observers. Duh, of course "Mother Nature" is both brilliant and flexible...and waits for silly humans to 'notice'. It brings to mind something poet Mary Oliver said, "Never hurry through the world but walk slowly and bow often".
