My cat is named Frances McDormand (after the amazing badass actress of the same name) and they seem to have the same approach to life: Live your life, do good work, don't give a fig what anyone else thinks. If my cat was a human actress, she too would wear a plain house dress and no make-up to pick up her academy award. Anyway, even tho she NEVER does stuff to curry favor with her human companions, she accidentally gives me delight when she is lounging on the garden wall, or flattened on a windowsill...just chillin...and thinking about her next meal, which she may catch and eat, herself.
