This is my still-life set up that I painted yesterday, but I moved closer to it and switched out the magenta orchid for a celery green one. I like a tight, close-up view of a still life...kind of like "you are in it". It reminded me of a wonderful quote by Dr. Brené Brown. She says, "Move closer to each other, because people are hard to hate close up". So THIS still life is a reminder to "move closer" to one another.
