Isn't it cool the way that nature does many renditions of yellow flowers throughout the growing season. For example, Spring is announced by daffodils and primulas, then proceeds through forsythia and tulips, pansies and poppies, continues through snapdragons and sunflowers, and ends the season with dahlias, chrysanthemums and marigolds (for the wonderful Day of the Dead celebrations). Some flowers staying close to the ground, others soaring to the skies. All of them waking up our spirits to pure undiluted jolts of joy!
