A friend posted the view of her garden from her front porch on an idyllic Oregon morning. I looked at it and was arrested by the view! It worked on every level as an abstract and as a more realistic painting. I have painted her children's portraits over the years, and now they are almost all grown up. Here's to beauty everywhere!!
