I just looked at my calendar and it turns out we are ONLY on the second Monday of the new year...so I say we just keep easing our way into it...remembering the Scottish word that we learned last year: Hurkle Durkle. To hurkle durkle is "to lie in bed or lounge about when one should be up and about". I, for one, am ALL about this 'easing into' the new year, being gentle and kind to ourselves. Our 'battle cry' of encouragement to each other this year? HURKLE DURKLE!!
