Happy Flower Friday! Yesterday I went to my every fortnight therapy appointment. And, as is my habit, I extend my therapy time by stopping by a sweet little mom and pop plant nursery on my way home. Being around living things, seeing Spring unfurl, smelling the delicious plant life is and always has been my healing space. (Thank you mom for taking me to a gazillion nurseries and having me hold plants in the back of the station wagon growing up!) So I got home and looked at my little pocket garden and saw where I could tuck in my new babies (ooooh underneath the newly opened fig leaves!) and then I ran back into my studio and painted the whole experience.
