i don't usually give sartorial advice because people often say to me, "Wow, only YOU could wear that!", which I am pretty sure is code for, "um THAT is freaking weird!" So think of this more as a 'life hack'. i went on a road trip with my bestie to go see Georgia O'Keefe's house, and we stopped at this little gas station/store that was a wonderland of cool shit out in the middle of nowhere. There were cool enamel-ware dishes, a few items of linen clothing, and this colorful stack of soft Indian (from the country India) quilts. Impulsively, I picked one up and wrapped it around my neck like a fantastic (albeit rather large scale) scarf. I wanted the soft oranges and magentas next to my face, and the soft cotton fabric on my body. And then I realized that I was holding a remarkably adaptable 'transformer' in my hands: an item of clothing, a tablecloth, a picnic blanket, and oh yeah, a blanket! i don't usually give sartorial advice because people often say to me, "Wow, only YOU could wear that!", which I am pretty sure is code for, "um THAT is freaking weird!"
