One of the things that I loved about motherhood was introducing my children to various bodies of water (lakes,oceans,rivers,swimming pools) and needing to get in the water WITH them! I love love love water, so introducing my children to it, and teaching them to be safe in it, was my pleasure. In fact, when I figured out that motherhood 'required' lots of summertime 'pool' duty, I was pretty dang delighted!
