I am so happy to have captured these "players" in motion, in a state of play. Even after all the blood, sweat,and tears (and time and money!) that has brought them to this point, it is breathtaking to see them move with such fluidity and joy in their bodies. I think when we watch anyone 'play', we are actually alert for that moment when they simply PLAY again, when THEY are simply astounded and delighted by what their body can do.
