In this little painting I zoomed in on the 'treasure hunters', aka garage/yard sale folks. I know some people say that garage sales just move junk from one place to another...but I, personally have found some REAL treasures in other people's jumble of stuff. I am at a stage in my life where I want fewer 'things'...but even 'reformed magpie' that I am, I occasionally HAVE to bring home the one 'glittering object'. And, just so you know, in my case, 'glittering object' for me means the most aged, beat-up, dented, rusted object on the planet! I mean I salivate over THAT stuff.
