What is it about water? We are drawn to it...it is relaxing, restorative, familiar...we all have that primal memory of turning somersaults in our mother's tummy I guess. I love that when I was 67 I was finally able to build a pool. It is just a small rectangle of water, (22' x 10') but it makes me so happy to have a float and contemplate the sky, or have a float and a long chat. Or last weekend, have a friend fly in with her underwater camera and photograph my family both above and below the surface as they frolicked with each other (and sometimes the dog) all day long. Is there anything better than having something you love, and sharing it with people you love??? What is it about water?
