These two flowers bloomed at once - peonies, as expected, the amarylis was a surprise! Advertised as an "orange" amarylis, it didn't bloom and was forgotten, until a year later, when it did bloom! Is it really orange? Wellll... maybe! Sorta. But pretty just the same. Side by side, they make a charming still life!
