I discovered a horse while working on this piece. During the night I remembered the horse from 2017 that I put on my business card (2nd photo). My feeling is that it’s the same horse. He was “blue” before and heading into the night, but now he is breaking out, breaking free of the rocks that are crushing him and pointing his face to the light.
