The things your children finally tell you… Turns out I took my son to The Palace to see the Righteous Brothers back in 1993 or so and Carrot Top was the opener! I have no memory of seeing Carrot Top in person. In fact, I don’t even remember seeing him on TV later and saying to myself, “Oh yeah, I’ve seen him in person.” I’ll just have to trust my son‘s memory on this one. Another thing he remembers from that night is that Bobby Hatfield forgot to put on his belt and kept having to hold up his pants. Yes, I had to ask, “Who in the world was Bobby Hatfield?” Now I know. Do you?
