This is an homage to a beautiful friend who happens to be a robin. My husband and I were very sick with the flu after Thanksgiving. Everyday when I came to my sickcouch and looked out the back windows, the robin would be there watching. Eventually I began opening the door and greeting him with a bit of conversation. He never budged, just made eye contact. Sometimes he would move to a different branch, but he was always there. After two and a half weeks I began to feel better and one day he was gone. I was back to normal and his job was finished. This is an homage to a beautiful friend who happens to be a robin. My husband and I were very sick with the flu after Thanksgiving.
