I love lizards and I loved creating this one crawling across a black and white tiled floor. The checkerboard continues on the sides. Some years ago I wrote a little story that began with the line "Too many lizards spoil the broth." It's too much to type the whole piece, but the last line was "Lizards in blizzards may be hard to find, but lizards and gizzards in soup is not kind." It was an amazing tale, but more amazing is the fact that I could actually lay my hands on the tiny notebook I wrote it in twenty-five years ago!
