Last year, I was briefly obsessed with trying to find the golden ratio applied in Masters’ paintings and attempted to apply it to my artwork. The Creation of Adam, the Birth of Venus, and the Mona Lisa are fine examples where the golden ratio appears. I was recently reminded of it and had to try it out, math and all. Created a b&w ink study tonight of the Nautilus shell also known as the Fibonacci shell.
