unframed stretched canvas I spent many years coming up with ideas for surreal paintings and sometimes carrying them through. When I started Daily Painting I lost track of one of my true loves – conceptual art with a surreal slant. I have a notebook filled with ideas that never happened. This fish wasn’t one of them. I started painting a simple fish and when I finished I realized that it needed something else.
