I have always had a love of art and drawing. I painted a few things here and there but began to more seriously look into learning how to paint with oils. I read where the old masters would copy paintings to learn the trade, so I thought I'd do the same. Monet is a particular favorite so I began to copy some of my favorite paintings. This painting, which I did back in 1994, has hung in our home since I painted it. I have always had a love of art and drawing.
