Our next door neighbors were a young couple in their 20s who moved in a few years after we moved into our house. They were very friendly and we often chatted across our yards and helped each other with gardening tips. Sandy worked as a nurse and told us a couple years after they moved in that she was diagnosed with an incurable disease. She fought hard as there is always a glimmer of hope. We told her we were praying for her. She and her husband would come over to talk on our deck from time to time. One day she brought over a bunch of tulips and we put them in a vase. A few days later we heard Sandy had passed. These are Sandy's tulips. Our next door neighbors were a young couple in their 20s who moved in a few years after we moved into our house.
