Script and Shadows - is a 6 x 6 inch mixed media painting on Ampersand gesoobord art panel. It is a fun departure from my usual landscapes and portraits...going back to my roots as a collage artist! I use a bit of everything I love in these pieces, from vintage ephemera, bits of words or images, and interesting textures and color combinations, to make them one of a kind! I use asemic writing in these pieces, which is really artistic script with no specific language or meaning. I love how it adds a bit of ancient mystery about this piece. Each piece is original.
