When I was at the supermarket looking for still life objects to paint I chose these three vegetables, a purple cabbage, scallions and radishes. It wasn't random. I had an image of a monoprint by Mary Beth McKenzie. It was the cabbage that drew me in. The challenge was to fit the other objects in the composition.
