I don't often paint backlit landscapes. I had very little time today before I lost the light in my the studio ( I prefer to paint with natural light ), I've kept going back to this photo from a month ago but didn't think I would have enough time to try something I thought would be very challenging, But I kept returning to it and decided to go for it! It went quickly and I was really happy with the way it turned out! I don't often paint backlit landscapes.
