The mysterious beauty of clouds never ceases to amaze me. That droplets of water can reflect colors and form massive columns of mist that look solid, seems miraculous. And of course I enjoy seeing what forms seem to appear across the sky. "Cloudscape" is inspired by a photo I took, and is painted over a failed painting whose colors and texture helped to inform this piece. The mysterious beauty of clouds never ceases to amaze me.
