I arrived late, when most of the other plein air painters were packing up to head home. But the light was lovely, so I stayed and painted this small portion of a large flower field. The original setting included a port-o-potty, teal plastic, just to the left of the barrel. The wonders of editing in real time! I loved the interplay of pinks and purples against the many shades of green. At the end, an orange cat wandered through his domain. I envied him his colorful home.
