This farmhouse caught my eye during a tree-peeping drive last fall. We enjoyed driving through the White Mountains, crossing back and forth over the Maine and New Hampshire borders as we wound through small country roads. This scene was on our way home. We stopped to try to get some dinner at a local restaurant, but it was closed. Instead, we enjoyed this surprise view from their parking lot: food for the eyes and soul.
