This view of Napeague Harbor was a plein air destination for a group of us. I arrived when the sun was high and glaring, but soon found a few views that were beautiful even in those conditions. Living this close to the beach is a new experience for me, but one I'm loving. It's a new experience to paint so many coastline scenes, trying to convey the juxtaposition of intimacy and expansiveness on these shores.
