We enjoy the annual open lighthouse day in Maine. Volunteers help visitors to explore and learn about lighthouses normally not open to the public. The Squirrel Point Lighthouse was not open, but we took the trail to see it anyway. It is isolated and beautiful, just like so much of Maine's hidden beauty.
