The seacoast of Maine is still filled with workers pulling in bounty from nature. Often surrounded by summer homes and rentals, working wharfs remain vital and active, up and down the long coastline of Maine. This wharf was lined with lobster traps, which are to the left of the image. I loved the rugged look of the wharf and the bright red spot of the building to the right.
