I love any excuse to be on the water and so when we couldn’t go whale watching one summer, we hopped on a boat traveling around the coast of Maine. Everywhere the boat traveled, we saw a different, magnificent view of the sun setting on the water. This reminds me of how important travel is. It’s not only the opportunity to take thousands of photos of striking landscapes but also how the observant traveler gains a different perspective; we might see the both the beauty and the challenges people of a particular region or part of the world face.
