This week’s painting is based on photos I took of a beautiful west coast beach near sunset. Most of the visitors had gone home and it looked lovely...very quiet and peaceful and maybe a little bit lonely. It reminds me of what a college campus looks after the semester ends. At that point, the students are gone, the campus is quiet and looks beautiful and peaceful....and just a little bit lonely waiting for our youngest inhabitants to return again.
