As so often happens when I head north seeking cool temperatures in the summer, I encounter fog. There are some absolutely gorgeous areas along the coast of Newfoundland, however, these same areas are often blanketed in fog. In the case of this painting, the fog was rolling into the valley below, but I was able to capture the sun shining on this beautiful hillside.
