I got a chance to get away to the beach this past weekend and while it was too cold for swimming, it was wonderful to walk on the beach, smell the salt air, watch the tiny sandpipers dart back and forth, and forget about work if only for a short while. I also found this one bright corner that popped with color and I had my painting!
