With these grey days and the news getting increasingly scary and heartbreaking, I find myself trying to focus on something positive. When I go grocery shopping (a chore I hate for some reason), I treat myself to some flowers. I tell myself that I’m investing in a painting subject (which is true in this case) but sometimes, I just need a reminder of the beautiful fragrance and colors of nature.
