While working on this painting, as well as while writing this post, I have been on edge since all day we have been receiving news of the progress of our first grandchild’s entry into the world. Like most people in this situation, I just want everything to go well for my daughter-in-law and the baby. At least when you look into the distance in this painting, there are blue skies, signaling happy times. Update: Mom and baby are doing well.
