As extreme cold grips much of the eastern U.S., I’m remembering the warmth and sunshine of a summer day. It’s one of the many wonderful aspects of being an artist in that you can create your own reality. While I don’t really mind the cold (except when I have to run in it), I really enjoyed painting and remembering this coastal scene from two summers ago. I loved how all the birds gathered along and within this small stream as if gathering for a great summer party.
Hoping you’re staying warm.
