It’s been raining every day here in the Atlanta area for what feels like weeks, so not surprisingly, I’ve been drawn to any of my reference photos that show sunlight. In this painting, I wanted to indicate some dreary rain clouds moving off in the distance and some sun (finally) shining through the trees and illuminating some of the rocks.
