Fortunately, I have a ready supply of sun and warmth in the form of paintings because dark skies, rain, and cold have moved in again! This work is of the northern Oregon coast, which provided us last summer with gorgeous views of ocean and impressive rocks. I can look at this painting and remember the tang of the salt air, the gulls flying overhead, and the breezy, sunny day.
