Lately, I’ve been finding solace in painting. Every time I read or hear the news, it seems to be about yet another conflict. Artists can choose to reflect that conflict or remind people that there is good in the world; I respect both choices. For me, I find good – beauty, wonder, peace, in nature so for now, that’s what I’m painting. This is another painting of a windy, cool summer day with a fast-moving parade of clouds drifting by.
