One of my favorite places to visit in Scotland is the island of Skye and one year, when we couldn’t get a hotel room we found instead, a beautiful, small island just east of Skye called the Isle of Raasay. Staying there allowed me to see the sun rise over the coast of Scotland illuminating this beautiful island’s eastern coast.
