Sometimes, it’s the quiet scenes that draw my attention at the beach. I love the waves, the people with their colorful umbrellas, and the hopefully blue sky. However, I’m also drawn to the multitude of colors you can see in the dunes, especially the beautiful shadows contrasting with the light. To me, the dunes are the unsung heroes, protecting the coast from waves and offering shelter to wildlife.
