Sometimes, I get lucky and get to paint three things that I love: sailboats, the ocean, and a big sky full of clouds. That day, the sky was full of interesting clouds, the water was dark turquoise blue in the distance with a gorgeous greenish-blue closer to shore and to top it all off, a striking sailboat with its sails catching the light as well as the wind.
