Painted from a photo I think around Taos. It's been tough being able to get outside and paint much. I focused on simplifying the photo and loosening my brushwork. The photo had a lot more going on in it. More buildings, posts and a solid fence across the front. I edited it down quite a bit and as you can see, opened the fence to let you into the view.
