Normally I paint rather quickly. (That's why they call me "Slow Camera"). But here's an exception. I took months on this. Here's a view of the golden sunset light on My Hood, from the White river Sno-Park. I had taken a trip circumnatigating the mountain that day. This was my last stop. I did a plein air painting and took lots of pictures. The experience of seeing in detail while doing the plein air allowed me to remember the subtle light shifts while painting this one from one or two of the photos I took at the scene.
