Rise Again is my second painting inspired by the sunrise on a brisk Easter morning 2020. It is part of a series of oil paintings I've created in spring 2020. I've entitled the series Quiet Waters. Be sure to see the brief video showing the inspiration for this painting. Quiet Waters embodies selah, rest, and pause -- in soul-restoring places of peace - lakes, streams, rivers, and ocean. This virus season has challenged our contentment, our convenience, and sometimes our peace. My artist response to these inner and outer tensions is to paint places of peace - places of quiet waters. To me, the lake and stream imagery is soul-refreshing. And so I've painted them to "notice" them, to receive them well, and to share them. see more artwork by Steve Scheibe at www.visibleinvisible.com and view his thirty days of painting page here http://www.visibleinvisible.com/pages/daily-paintings/spring2020dailyoilpaintings.php Artwork is sold unframed and sealed with damar varnish (sealed 11/2/2020).
