On Hold
Almost daily, I walk sections of this trail near my home studio. It's always changing. The soon setting sun casts warm shadows across golden-dried grasses of late summer. The air is warm and sweet with the fragrance of crushed douglas fir needles lining the trail. I paint these moments to notice and recieve them - to linger in them and remember them on the rainy days (nine months of the year here). I'm enjoying rediscovering the immediacy and opacity of pastels. Art is signed on front and dated on back by the artist. Art is sold unframed, and carefully shipped with glassine.
