On Hold
Waldrick Road leads to my house, so I drive on it frequently. I was returning home from a walk at the nearby trail when the ordinary road was suddenly illuminated to reveal a fresh and unexpected beauty. Maybe when we know a place well, we can paint it better. This was part of a thirty day self-challenge to start a painting every work day for six weeks, during the "stay home" order with Covid-19. Giving myself permission to paint, I now have over thirty new original oil paintings. They'll be posted here and at my online studio art show and sale at http://www.visibleinvisible.com/pages/events/spring2020studioshowonline.php NOTE: Image two shows the work in progress. Sky holes and other touch-ups are missing. More artwork by Steve Scheibe can be found at www.visibleinvisible.com
Artwork is sold unframed and sealed with damar varnish (sealed 11/2/2020). Waldrick Road leads to my house, so I drive on it frequently.
