Painted this on location at Maramec Springs in St James. Love this historic pump house and have always wanted to paint it....finally got the chance this year. It has such a unique look, almost a whimsical or fantasy look to it. While painting, there were a few groups of school kids that came through on a field trip, I heard one little refer to it as "the witch's house." Good one, kid!
